I've lived in the area for almost a decade & hadn't tried them yet. But I do remember when they were in their original location at a gas station; Driving by, I'd see a huge line around lunch time.
Anyway, I finally tried them after all these years & they were great. It has a mom & pop feel, which is always a plus in my book. I forgot what burger I got (Sorry), but it was a "special" they were advertising with jalapeños & bacon (I think). However, I got it with a veggie patty instead (I'm not big on beef, sorry again). Anyway, it was delicious! I loved every bite of it. Fries were shoestring-like and came with a cup of ketchup. I knew I'd need more, so when the waitress asked dropped off our food & asked if we needed anything, I asked for more ketchup cuz I knew I'd need it (the portion of fries was generous!). I noticed that there was a lil stand full of different varieties of hot sauces nearby, which I didn't try but I appreciated the option.
The place is decorated in the "crazy crap on the wall" aesthetic, which is fun and homey. There were two TVs for gazing. Plenty of seating, but I'm sure it gets pretty full around lunch time & evenings.
Anyway, it's unfortunate I waited so long to try them, but I'm happy I finally did. I'll definitely return! -

I have returned!!!! and I am impressed yet again!!! came at 6:30pm on a weekday to impressed my date and of course I did! It wasn't as busy as the last time I went but it was just as delicious. literally the epitome of a hole in the wall spot. lowkey but awesome food!
THE FOOD:
-ABC Burger ($9.29) - HUGE! avocado, bacon, cheese and all the works inside! so delicious and a must get! they are generous with the avocado and everything works well. plus 1 for shredded lettuce
-Greek Fries ($9.59) - also HUGE! came with sauce to pour over the fries and lots of toppings and a healthy portion of fries. too freaking good hella fitting
PROS:
-great, nice staff
-fast service
-quality food
-HUGE portions
CONS:
-absolutely none!
BE BACK SOON!!! -

We came in because of all the reviews and it lived up to its reputation.
Its definitely a burger stand type of flavor profile, but elevated. The burger was heavy because it was so packed. Juicy patty, crispy bacon, and perfect avocado slices.
I'd definitely go back next time I'm in the area. -

Ordered 2 cheeseburgers last night (to go). Was excited because I'm not really big on burgers specially fast food burgers but being it's a gourmet burger and it never disappoints it became a treat coming here...... except for today. The first thing I saw was mold on the top bun when I pulled my burger out of the bag, no big deal but I don't have a strong gut and didn't want to risk it. Though I took the patty and slap it in between 2 loaf of bread and it was still good plus I was starving! Make sure to check your buns..

This place lives up to the hype. I was in a debate with my husband on whether we should eat dinner here or Islands (mainly because we had a BOGO coupon). We compromised by having Islands first and coming here a few days later. I ordered the Bubba buger while the hubby ordered the Rammer. We upgraded one of the burgers to a combo (the portion of fries for the combo is enough for two). The meal was amazing. At the end of it, my husband agreed that Peter's Gourmade Grill was the bomb diggity.
